Mary Boyarsky, Director

Teaching has been a joy and passion of Mary’s since age 22. She taught middle school in Redmond, Central Point, and Medford for 19 years and taught high school English at South Medford High School for 11 years.

Mary’s community service now includes being a SMART reader at Kennedy Elementary and packing lunches for Rotary at Jackson and Phoenix Elementary. She hass previously served on The Medford-Alba Sister City Board as well as past PTO leadership positions.

Mary loves learning and is taking several classes each quarter through OLLI. She is also relearning piano. She enjoys daily walks with her dogs to maintain her level of fitness and connected with her neighborhood. Mary’s special passion is her two little granddaughters who live in San Francisco.

Mary serves as a director on the RPP board and truly believes in the program; as a teacher she witnessed daily the number of children who are affected by hunger and poverty.
